Vinaigrette is so simple and quick to prepare, you'll never want to buy store-bought salad dressing again. This version uses our original K-1 hot sauce to give it a special zing.
1 tsp. Sicilian "dipper" seasoning*
3/4 cup K-1 Keenan's Killer Original Hot Sauce
1 cup mango pulp vinegar (or other fruit vinegar)
1 cup rosemary herb oil
Mix all ingredients together. Place in refrigerator for at least two hours before serving. Yield: 2 3/4 cups
Use with reckless abandon!
* Dipper seasoning is frequently available pre-made and is generally used for making dipping oils served with warm bread. You can make your own to keep on-hand with this simple recipe:
1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1/2 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1-1/2 tablespoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
